How does it work?

How does it work?

The KUMA Protocol provides tokenized real-world assets in multiple forms, giving our users access to traditional assets in a DeFi-compatible way, providing an alternative and solid source of yield in varying market conditions.

Kuma Interested Bearing Tokens (KIBTs)

KIBTs are fully transferable (anyone can buy/sell a KIBT without a KYC/KYB request), follow the ERC-20 token standard, and accrue interest automatically as an additional balance without user intervention.

*Regulated NFTs are swapped for IBTs (currently, the Kuma Protocol accepts only Regulated NFTs issued by MCAG)

Regulated NFT

KUMA NFTs are non-fungible and transferable. They follow the ERC-721 NFT standard. Each token contains metadata that provides details about the underlying asset backing its value.

*These NFTs are issued by MCAG. The KUMA DAO has no control over them. Visit mcag.mimo.capital to learn more about these products.

Real World Assets

Real World Assets are tangible assets or financial primitives found in the traditional financial markets that are brought on-chain through a process called tokenization. RWAs vary from stocks, real-estate, commodities... and bonds as well.
